GE SymDec 16 plus 4 uses “hybrid” recording that works with both conventional analog cameras and the new family of GE digital network products. This unique platform provides a graceful migration path to digital recording – the future of video recording – and at the same time allows continued use of existing analog equipment.

Record full-size images in real time on 16 analog and four digital channels with the SymDec 16 plus 4. Using MPEG-4 compression for small but high-quality files, SymDec 16 plus 4 records at 30 frames per second, per channel – all at D1 resolution (720 x 540).
